240 one-day-old chickens were divided at random into three groups: NDV4 infected group (V group), La sota infected group (L group) and control group(C group). Each group had 80 chickens, which were raised separately. Three groups were all injected in eight-day-old through nostril. V group was injected with 0.lml NDV4 (107EID50) per chicken, L group were injected with 0.lml La sota (107EID50) per chicken and C group were injected with 0.lml saline water per chicken. Each group was picked out 8 chickens (4 cocks and 4 hens) at random to collect blood, dissect, record pathological changes and draw materials later. Pathological changes of every tissues and organs in different periods were observed through microscope. HI antibody degree was examined by hemagglutination and hemagglutination inhibition. Leucocytes were counted in terms of sorts after Wright's dyeing. Lymphocytes were observed by lymphocyte Acid-a-naphthyl-acetate esterase (ANAE) histochemistry staining methods to determine the quality of T cell. Relation between immunity and growth situation was observed by weight determination. In a word, serum method, immunity histochemistry method and histological observe method were used to study dynamically the pathological model. The results showed that there were some pathologic injuries in some special tissues after V group and L group were injected seperately. But the degree of the pathological changes and the organ were different in two groups. Result of clinical observation showed that before inoculating, every group was normal. In earlier stage after inoculating, a few chickens of V group and L group expressed slight symptom in pneogaster, and the symptom disappeared gradually on later stage. Dissecting the chickens showed that, the pathological changes of V group mainly existed in intestines, spleen, thymus, lung, liver and mainly appeared after 28 days after inoculated. Bleeding of the alimentary canal was the most obvious pathological change. The pathological changes of L group mainly existed in lung, thymus. tonsil of cecum, spleen, intestines and mainly appeared after 21 days after inoculating. The pathological changes in lung were most obvious. The body of lung appeared ashen in earlier stage and most individuals' lungs appeared withered or black necrosis in later stage. Results observing through, the microscope showed that the pathological changes of V group mainly appeared bleeding inflammation in the duodenum. The pathological changes of L group mainly appeared in the respiratory track in which can be seen obviously pneumonia. Watched through TEM (transmission electricmirror), the duodenum of L group and V group both presented endoplasmic extending and mitochondria swelling in various degrees and can be seen Newcastle virus particles, laminated body and lymphocyte putrescence in V group. The result of weight showed that V group average weight was greater than C group notably. Results of haematology study showed that, after inoculating, the lever of HI antibody in V group rised earlier than that in L group, and reached peak value 7 days earlier than V group. In the later stage, V group was calmer than L group, but lower than L group markably. The lymphocyte in L group and V group both increased, and V group reached peak value ealier and higher than L group, and there was not obvious change in C group. Monocyto in V and L group inceased greatly and the farmer was higher than the latter. But C group inceased lightly. The eosinophil and the basophil in V group and L group both presented a downward trend. The proportion of ANAE's lymphocyte in blood of V group and L group both presented a downward trend, but the lever of V group was higher than L group's all the time.According to those, the author considered that NDV4 injuried mainly on alimentary canal of the chicken, while La sota injuried mainly on respiratory track. The pathologic changes in V group were all lighter than in L group. Increasing weight of V group's chicken was higher than L group notably. Thus, the injury arosed by V4 was...
