Lilium putailum, Which has scarlet flowers, moderate height, as well as ability of resistance of disease , heat and salt, is a main parent, of resistance breeding of Lily. 2~4 year-old L.pumilum cultivated in Northeast forestry university in Harbin were studied in this paper.In the dark enviroronment, 20℃ was the optimum temperature to seed germination. Germination began 6 days and ceased 12 days after the inifiation of the experiement .The percentage of seeds germination was decreased whth increase or decrease of temperature. But the exception was 5℃ when the rate of the seed germination had been greatly improved and seed couldn't germinated at 35℃. Seed germination of different infruitescencevaried wi th the fruit location. Seed germination of lowest fruit is superior to the middle fruits and the upset.We found the best conditions including base material. age effectx position effect on the produced of the bulblet of Lilium pumilum scale through the study . Results showed that the best base material is the mixed peat with vermiculite that produced 172 scales 150 bulblet in the choose of the diff erent base material . the cuttings of Li Hum pumilum presented significant effects of ages and position . Under the same condition, the seales cultivated for 4 years reproduced more bulblets and average diameter of bulblets reproduced was larger than those from in the others. The middle and the lower parts of the same scale that produced the bulblet was advantage over the upper and the middle parts .We Selected bulb scales of L.pumilum as explants, by means of in vitro culture.The bulb scales were cultived in minimal medium supplemented with hormone(BA and NAA) of different conentrations. The researched Shows(1)the most adaptable combination for bulblet subculture was BA 1. 0mg/L and NAA1.0mg/L (2) different parts of bulb scale. The out layer bulb scale and the lower parts , the higher' differentiation frequencies (3)The four-year-growing bulbs reproduced more bulblets than those from the othersThe method of ELISA was used to analysis content change of hormone, such as abscisic acid (ABA), indoleacetic acid(IAA) and grbberel1 in(GA).The result showed that the same hormonal change of different ages and different position had greater difference. The content of IAA increased and ABA decreased with age increasing .The outer layer and the lower bulb, The more content of IAA and the lower of ABA. he content of GA had no regularity. The ratio of IAA/ABA and GA/ABA is higher in the outer layer and the lower bulb of 4-year-cultivated bulb.There are only 13. 55 percent, of cultivated 2-yeav-old L. pumilum developinginto reproduction stage and all about 3-year-old L. pumilum are flowerer...
