Landscape simulation is a kind of computer simulation technology applied in forestry, However, the crown architecture of a tree differs each other in its obvious fractal character. As a result, representing the spatial layout of forest has been a difficult problem in landscape simulation all along. In this paper, a simple three-dimension profile model of Larix olgensis is constructed based on crown architecture theory, geometry model and crown curve model. Then, a precise three-dimension model is studied through the branch data analysis. Last, A software simulating the forest growth developed by VC++6.0 based on the OpenGL platform. Forest landscape simulation is advanced and practicable based on crown architecture, And it provide fundamental theories and methods for the deep research of forest three dimension visualization. On the basis of above methods, we can realize the prediction of forest growth with three-dimension graph simulation. Furthermore, the virtual lumbering, planting and training can be realized to provide scientific bases for the practicable analysis of management approaches...
