The pathogen of Chronic Respiratory Disease(CRD) is Mycoplasma Gallisepticum(MG).The MG exists widely in chicken. So it usually brings considerable economic lose to the fowl aquaculture .Vaccine injection is an effective way to prevent this disease ,but at present the living vaccine and the killed vaccine both have some formidable drawbacks. So the manufacturing of gene vaccine and gene engineering vaccine is quite necessary now. So, prokaryotic expressing of TM-1 gene of MG strain H3 was done in this report. The west—blotting and ELISA showed that the expression product of TM-1 gene(29kDa polypeptide)had immunogenicity. On the basis of this research, we constructed the gene vaccine of MG.Animal expriment showed that the gene vaccine had effect on both humoral immunity and cellular immunity. At the same time, it showed that the gene vaccine had immuno-activity which the protective rate can reach to 79.5%.
