Vigna sinensis Endl is one of vegetables of which is fit to culture in upland. Many people like it because it has rich nutrition. However, droughty often effects on its producing. We studied on it under the drought stress by means of physiological-biochemism and microstructure synthesis. The results showed that with the SWC (soil water content) lowing, the LWC (leave water content), the stoma open rate and stomatal conductance were lower; while content of proline and soluble sugar were increasing and had negative relation with SWC. Photosynthetic rate, content of chlorophyll and transpiration rate were decrease during the stress period. Concentration of CO2 between cells was decrease during 6 days under stress, then it started to increase, finally it was higher than that of the control. Under drought stress, unfold leave is more sensitive than mature leaves. The polisade tissue became longer and sponge tissue became thinner compared with control in unfold leave. Moreover, the cells clearance was wider and vascular became more than that of the control. Polisade tissue of the mature leave became tighter. The sponge tissue cells became shorter and the number became more than that of the control. The change of microstructure of roots is more distinct than leaves. The epicutis cells of roots were plump and arrange orderly in the early stress days; with the SWC lowing, the epicutis cells of roots took place transmutation and arrange disorderly. The central bundle cells lose water and crimple. Xylem of roots got underdeveloped and separated in the late stress days.
