Mycorrhizae and Rhizobium are two important mutual symbiosis in continental ecosystem . Although they had been found for about one hundred years , they have been popular in biological field in recent twenty years . The paper introduces their definitions, significance, and research backround. Centering on development and perspective of mycorrhizal advantage, it also expounds practical value of two symboint types as a new biological technique in agriculture and forestry production. Five VA mycorrhizal fungi were inoculated with Agropyron cristatum (L.)Gaertn., Elymus dahuricus Turcz, Medicago sativa L, Melilotus suaveolens Ledeb., Astragalus adsurgens Pall at Cai Mu Shan in Duo Lun countyï¼›The five VA mycorrhizal fungi inoculate with Agropyron cristatum (L.) Gaertn., Elymus dahuricus Turcz, Medicago sativa L, Onobrychis viciaefolia Scop, Silphium perfoliatum L at horticulture center of Agriculture Bureau in Huhhot, also different Rhizobium and mycorrhizal fungi were mix-inoculated in Medicago sativa L, Onobrychis viciaefolia Scop., Based on the biomass analysis , the result revealed that :both VA Mycorrhizal Fungi and Rhizobium can promote the growth of the five Herbage species. The growth effects of mycorrhizal fungi vary with different host, soil featur, climate ect. The effect of multiple inoculation with different mycorrhizal fungi and Rhizobium is better than single microorganism material inoculation at most circumstances.
