Sixteen quantity traits of plant type were studied in the Cross generation between Song5186 and Dongnong 423, the Objective of this study was to determine genetic variability andgenetic course of this quanlity,and contribute to the expresstion of genetic dicipline,and findthe genetic model of Cross generation. This population could improved and exploited moreeffectively based on this analysis.1. Quantity variation of F2 and F3 generation was high which focused on panicle length, grains per panicle,curve degreen of panicle. These quantities were generally used to chose big panicle to increase the percentage of ripened grain2. In the generation of diffirent panicle type, there is the resemble variation current in the same generation and diffirent between generation . But the grains per panicle has a persistent high current ,it could be chosed after F2, and the low quantities be chosed in F2.3. Accoding to the analysis of heritability, thwe characters of 1000-grain weight,panicle length, panicle number, grain of second ranchis-branches,primary ranchis-branches, wight per plant,second ranchis-brancheswere higher, these could be chosed in low generation.4. To the analysis of relative genetic advancement,the characters of curved degree, panicle nember, panicle length, 1000-grain weight and primary ranchis-branches were higher, could be chosed in low generation .Others in high generation.5. The extremity quantity was merged in the generation to the main agriculture quantity, include all sorts of plant type and the general genetic diversity.6. We can find there is positive effect among the characters through the correlation and path analysis,elevating the characters of panicle length, primary ranchis-branches and grains of second ranchis-branches, and using big panicle to improve yield per plant were right.7. The study shows that:low plant heigh, high panicle length and weight,high primary ranchis-branches and low second ranchis-branches , rising curved degree and sword leaf lengt could form panicle under sword leaf. The curved panicle rice with panicle under sword leaf was higher on yield, it was adapted to the cold region, but could be planted in lower density.
