Biosafety of transgenic insect-resistant plant became a focus of concern in the world. Evaluate the ecological risk of two transgenic insect-resistant rice lines: MSA and MSB containing SCK and cry 1 Ac gene which their parental control cultivar MH86 , were investigated in laboratory and field. The results are as follows:1 Evaluation of the resistance of transgenic rice containing sck/cry1Ac genes to main Lepidopteran PestsThe results in vitro laboratory bioassay showed that MSA and MSB had high resistance to the first instar of Sesamia inferens, Chilo suppressalis , Scirpophaga incertulas , Cnaohalocrocis medindis , Parnara gutata ,while low resistance to the first instar of Mycalesis gotama , and the resistance was influenced by the developmental stage of rice plants. MSA and MSB tested in field for two years also indicated that they had highly resistant to C.suppressalis and C.medindis.. There was no significant different between transgenic rice and its parent control MH86 with insecticides treatment (p>0.05 ) . Compared with its parent control MH86 without insecticides treatment, control efficialy of MSB on Chilo suppressalis and Cnaohalocrocis medindis were over 80%.2 Impact of transgenic rice containing sck/crylAc genes on non-target herbivores and main enemyThe individual number and population density dynamics of non-target herbivores, planthoppers and leafhoppers and Spiders, transgenic sck/cry1Ac rice were similar to their parent control's. But the density of Spiders in transgenic rice field and its parents was higher than its parents treated with insecticides treatment. Impact of the dominant species of spiders varied with species of spiders. Thedensity of parasitoids in MSB field was lower than that in parent control field.Mean intrinsic increase rates of sub-communities of spiders and parasitoids inMSB field were higher than those in parent control field and insecticidetreatment.3 Effect of transgenic rice containing sck/cry1Ac genes on dispersal ofnon-target herbivores and main natural enemies.Effect of transgenic rice containing sck/cry1Ac genes MSB and its parent control MH86 on the dispersal of main non-target herbivores and main natural enemies were evaluated in the field. The results showed that the dispersal numbers of planthoppers, leafhoppers and aphids from MSB to MH86 were slightly more than from MH86 to MSB, but the difference were not significant. To main natural enemies, the dispersal numbers of parasitoids from MH86 to MSB were slightly more than from MSB to MH86. and Braconidae , Ichenumonidae and Eurytomidae were the main dominant species despite of height of viscose plate.
