Stockbreeding has been reckoned as an effective strategy in the course of stopping rock desertification, which commonly occurs throughout the 3.44 billion km2 in China, because it composes a very large part of the family incomes in poverty-striken karst areas. Chosen Guangxi province as the typical case, 41.75% of whose total area is karst in south China, the article studied the possibility and prospect of enclosed stockbreeding using abundant local fodder plants resources. In Guohua Fengcong depression area, the distribution of element in plant organs is neither equal nor random. Some of them enrich in curtain organs while others are scarce. For example, Ca, Mg, K, P enrich in leaf, and Fe, Na enrich in root. In different karst areas, even the same fodder plant has different element enrichness character due to the diversity of climate, carbonate bedrock background and so on.The nutritional labeling of fodder plants characterized by high crude-protein, high crude-fat in leaf and low in stem. In most of fodder plants, the nutritional labeling are ADF, crude-protein, crude-fat in decreasing order of importance, only Leucaena leucocephala L,in comparative, the two former in exchange with each other. In different karst areas, nutritional labeling various to different climate and carbonate bedrock background and so on. Based on relevant analysis, there are prominent dependence between every two elements, every two nutritional labelings, and between elements and nutritional labelings. The largest dependence index occurs in stem, followed by that of in leaf. There also has relevant relation between elements contents of soil and plant, soil elements and nutritional labeling in plants, which in turns are root, and stem. The fodder plants have different excellences in Guohua fengcong depression. wooden fodder plants such as Leucaena leucocephala L,Zeniainsignis Chun have more potential and anti-drought ability than herb ones. Leucaena leucocephala L,Acalypla trewioides,Gui grazing I, Arthraxon hispidus(Thunb.)Mak have a better palatability than Zeniainsignis Chun.Gui grazing I and Pennisetum purpureum has the largest yield, while Leucaena leucocephala L has the best regrowth ability. Most of the fodder plants grows from March to December and can meet using throughout the rest of a year.
