(Key Laboratory of Ministy of Agricuture for Tropica Crop Physiology Rubber Research Inititute,CATAS,Danzhou Hainan,571737)Abstract:Micro-cut tapping with ethylene gas stimulation, developed in the early of 1990's shows a great potential economic advantage.Five physiological features(lutoid burst index ,plug index ,thiol content ,the activities of invertase and chitinase)of PR107 and SCATC7-33-97 under micro-cut tapping stimulated with five different levels of ethylene gas were mentarted ,the results show that PR107 tapped under Mc(5cm)d/3 t 30mlET,and SCATC 7-33-97 under Mc5(5cm) d/3 10mlET can get the greatest economic profit. The crud extract of lutoid were submitted to electrophesis on Tricine-SDS-PAGE to study the content of chitinase and hevein, the outcomes show that the content of chitinase dosen't change with the intensity of stimulation, and the two clones show no obvious difference. As for PR107, its content of hevein shows no obvious difference when stimulated with different levels of ethylene ,and the hevein content from trees stimulated with ethylene is lower than that without stimulation. But ,in a scope , in SCATC7-33-97,the content of hevein increases with the strengthening of the stimulation ,when beyond the scope it change at the oppositive tendency. It is interesting that the content of hevein of tree tapped upwards is lower than that tapped downwards. Two chitinases(30KD and 18.8KD) and a hevein(7.4KD) have been purified from The crud extract of lutoid.Accroding to the method of Gidrol , the functions ofthem in the latex coagratulation reaction were test, the results show that hevein can destabilizes rubber latex, while chitinase stabilize latex.
