France great grand Yorkshire and Landrace of the days to 100kg shortened 2.835 days and 5.305 days in phenotype and 0.538 days and 1.147 days in genetics respectively; The ultrasonic backfat thickness to 100kg of body weight were phenotypically reduced by 0.965mm and 2.385mm and were genetically reduced 0.043mm and 0.109mm respectively; Total born of Yorkshire and Landrace increased 1.48 heads and 0.49 heads in phenotype and 0.026 heads and 0.061 heads in genetics respectively; Increased body weight per day of Yorkshire and Landrace improved 3.451 gram and 6.465 gram in genetics respectively; Fodder reward for 1kg body weight of Yorkshire and Landrace fallen down 0.147 and 0.02 in genetics respectively; In addition, estimated breeding values sire index of Yorkshire and Landrace enhanced from 99.108 and 97.095 in 1999 to 101.145 and 101.245 in 2003; Estimated breeding values sow index of Yorkshire and Landrace improved from 99.383 and 97.476 in 1999 to 101.211 and 103.545 in 2003. From few years measurement and analysis, we can draw a conclusion that our country swine genetic prediction project basically apply to import swine breeds. But their genetic improvement can,t still arrive in perfection. In addition, it still need revise if it apply to our country pig breeds or hybrid swine. |
