Gidson Gilear conceived of irrigating crop with Micro-gravity drip system in 1985. It has gotten applied in Israeli field after the scientific researchers' pilot study although there are many technical problems need been settled urgently. Micro-gravity drip system was introduced into china and began to be tested and demonstrated in a small way in orchards of Beijing suburb in 1998. The paper was just based on the test and demonstration. It aimed to resolve the lack matter of water resources in Beiging, to improve turnout and quality of fruits and quickly popularize micro-gravity drip in the area of Being or all the country. Sever key problems that need to be settled earnestly in the application of micro-gravity drip were the research contents of the paper. As follows: moving characteristic of soil water and yield and quality of fruit on the condition of micro-gravity irrigation, feasibility in economy using micro-gravity drip to irrigate the orchards of Beijing suburb and necessary in popularizing it to the countrywide regions, optimization design which selected type of every makeup part of the system, for power, control hinge that lay at its beginning and dripper etc., investment estimate which the orchards were irrigated with homemade micro-gravity drip system, and feasibility in economy and technology that micro-gravity drip system that was manufactured by our country' factories. We knew through 3 years research: water saturation area in soil was hardly formed during irrigation with micro-gravity drip system, its watering continuity was good and period of time was long, plenteous air and nutrient would be gotten by root if crop was irrigated by the system, recommendatory irrigation schedule was watering 10-12h a day and 8-10 days at a time, basic conditions that the system was made in our country had been possessed, total investment of watering orchards with micro-gravity drip system was 30-40% lower than general drip system and running cost must greatly fall.
