For the people, the picture is ocular, image and apt understanding and the amount of included information is great. The single width of remotely sensed image increases as the platform does. Its amount of information is especially true and abundant. Information science of remote sensing has produced extensive influence on all respects of national economic development at present, and the remote sensing application begins to turn to quantitative analysis in interpretation from determining the nature and drawing, and turn from the application of single information source to the integrated application of many kinds of information sources. The improving by a large margin of resolution ratio of space and spectrum must cause the amount of information of the satellite image to increase sharply. The development at full speed of the science and technology of the computer, especially the development and perfection of GIS and the image processing technology with the computer, have created conditions that deal with the remote sensing image information of magnanimity in high speed , high accuracy. With the help of national natural science fund project ,the quantitative model study of forestry resource estimating with sample in the sky theory based on high-resolution remote sensing image, this thesis studies digital image transformation, geometric correction , classification and loading other information resource, etc. In the study, a software module is designed to accomplish geometric precise correction. Through experiment one method based on mathematics morphology is discerned to classify the usage of land in high-resolution remote sensing image automatically.
