Rice bacterial blight, caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. Oryzae (Xoo), is a destructive disease of rice in most rice-growing countries and caused much damage to yield and qulity. The most efficient and economical way of controlling the disease is using of variental resistance. In this study, We used SSR molecular marker to survey 45 varieties of hybrid rice released in guangxi. The result of the survey demonstrated that most of hybrid rice varieties contained Xa4 gene molecular marke which accounted for 73.3% of the total tested cultivars. suggested that the mere resistant gene should be avoided in guangxi hybrid rice breeding; And then survey 441 germplasm, The results indicated that contained Xa4 gene molecular marke for 47.85%; Xa23 for 25.40%; At the same time, contained Xa4 and Xa23 for 10.43%; the results of the germplasm survey will be useful in hybrid rice breeding programs aimed at exploiting Xa4 and Xa23, It will provide breeders with some reference.
