The morphological characters, stress resistance, quality, yield and cultural model of 4 barley varieties including Kenpi No.2,Cdcyorkton,Sichuan No.177 and Ganpi No.4 were studied. The results showed: The tiller percentage of Kenpi No.2,Cdcyorkton,Sichuan No.177 was over 80%. Sichuan No.177 and Ganpi No.4 were highly lodging resistant and barley stripe resistant, but the resistance to barley smut was normal. The resistance to barley stripe and smut of Kenpi No.2 and Cdcyorkton was normal, and average lodging resistant. The protein content of Kenpi No.2,Cdcyorkton and Sichuan No.177 was less than 13.5%, and reach the national set standard of brewing beer. Sichuan No.177 was suitable for brewing beer and feed. The yield of 4 varieties was over 300Kg/666.7m2, and the average yield 17.0~33.8% over CK. By grey relating degree method, the main factors related to barley yield were grain weight per single plantï¹¥efficacious ear quantityï¹¥plant heightï¹¥era lengthï¹¥thousand kernal weight in ecological environment of Inner Mongolia region. The optimum cultural model of 4 varieties was: Kenpi No.2, 350 thousand grains/666.7m2under fertilizer â…¡ ; Cdcyorkton, 250~350 thousand grains/666.7m2under fertilizer â… ; Sichuan No.177, 350 thousand grains/666.7m2under fertilizer â…¡ ,or 250~300 thousand grains/666.7m2under fertilizer â…¢ ; Ganpi No.4, 300~350 thousand grains/666.7m2under fertilizer â… . By all different experiments and comprehensive evaluation, these 4 varieties are suitable for ecological and climate condition of Inner Mongolia Region. They can completely replace the current cultured varieties.
