| This article studied of the high produce to educate the demonstration expanse in YiLi region,XinJiang,the results show that the climate conditions are very similar between YiLi region and the counties along Mediterranean Sca .The cultivars of Mentha haplocalyx Briq .and Lavandula angustifolia planted in YiLi region which were introduced from Mediterranean have strong adaptability. The ares of Mentha haplocalyx Briq. In YiLi region are 2.28 ten thousand Mu ,and 1.8 ten thousand Mu of Lavandula angustifolia. These cultivarsare qualities of high yield, high quality,good beneficial and high content of essential oil, have strong export competition ability compared with the same kinds products.In the aspect of production and practice of fragrant plants, we have perfected the technique rules for high yield and prevention means for plants diseases and insect pests. Induce the important point as follows: With the autumn plant for lord, the spring plants to sow early in good time; The round makes , fine whole ground; Choose the good breed root, reasonable close planting; The point uses the bottom fatty, Match with N P K; Go to miscellaneous protect purely, loose soil in addition to grass; Infuse the water just the right amount, turn to control in good time; Defend the disease cures the insect, beginning the flower harvest; Sweep to shed leaves to the utmost, steam the oil in good time.We have mastered the habits and characteristics of these fragrant plants and have found out the relations between climate conditions , raw density ,raw time ,harvest time and yield .In the aspect of the process of essential oil ,we have also mastered relationships between optimum harvest time and the quality of essential oil.With of development of the fragrant plants ,we should attach importance to the building of the base and renewing of the fragrant culitivars , should improve cultivated techniques and processing technology, and shoud strengthen the competitive ability in the world.
