Coriaria Lactone (CL), main active ingredients in the seed of Coriaria sinica Maxim, has been verified that it has notable insecticidal activation. In order to look for other insecticidal ingredients, we carried out some experiments in this thesis based on research on CL: firstly, isolating and purifying CL from seeds of Coriaria sinica; and then carrying on the insectidal research with ingredients after isolation, which consist of non-Lactone (NL). The main results are as follows: After comminution, powder of seeds from Coriaria sinica was extracted in EtOH (95%) by boiling, and the solvent was removed with depression. The oil of EtOH extraction was removed by extraction with Petroleum ether. The residua was choromatographed over macro-reticular resin eluting with EtOH (50%), polyamide eluting with EtOH(30%), silica gel eluting with Petroleum ether—Ethyl acetate (9:1) sequentially. During course of each isolation, TLC (vanillin-dense sulphuric acid as developer)was used to detect CL. At last, CL was gained. Ten ingredients of NL which produced in the course of isolating and purifying CL, was named A1, A2,A3, B1, B2, B3, C1, C3, D, G and their chemical composition were primarily detected respectively. The results showed their chemical composition consisted of lactones, coumarines, steroids, terpenoids, flavonoids, saccharides and giycoside, vegetable tannins, hydroxybenzenes. Coumarines, steroids and terpenoids might have potential insecticidal activation among these compositions. B1 The insecticidal activity of ten materials of NL to the 3th instars larvae of Mythimna separateea was investingated. The results showed most of them had insecticidal activity and many ways against tested insect. A3,C3,D had antifeedant activity. A1 and B2 had temptatious activity to feed. B1 and G had antifeedant activity in high dense while had toxicity activity in low dense. A1,B1 and G had not any activity to tested insect. In addition, the results also showed antifeedant activity of A3 was maximal (AFC50 is 1.6730mg/mL). Toxicity activity of G was maximal (LD50 is 2.0814 mg/mL). So the further research on A3,B1 and G is very necessary.
