| As a new kind of fruit tree, Chinese dwarf cherry is relatively easy to be managed compared with other fruit trees, with high yield and high profitability. The objective of this study is to understand the dynamic change of mineral elements content in different organs of Chinese dwarf cherry. The concentrations of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu, and Zn in different organs of the tree were analyzed during one-year growing cycle. The studied results were as follows. The concentrations of N, P, K, Ca and Mg were higher during early period of growth, lower during middle period of growth, returned during late period of growth in one-year old branch, specially returned to the level of germination stage for the down-branch; but Fe increased gradually from germination stage to dormancy stage; other elements had a small change. In this part, the maximum concentration of element was Ca, next N, then K, P ,Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu in order. As phonological period development, concentrations of N, P and K decreased; whereas the concentrations of Fe, Mg, Cu and Zn rose in shoot. Ca, Mg as wells but lowered in fruit maturation period. The shoot was as order of elements as one-year old branch, but concentration of N was the highest at flowering stage. The leave was the same change trend as the shoots, but N was higher than Ca in order of element concentration. The concentrations of fruit of N, P, Ca, Mg, Mn, Cu were lower at young fruit stage than those at fruit maturation stage, but K, Fe and Zn were different between two varieties. And the order of element concentration was first N, next K, then Ca, P, Mg, Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu in order. In root system, the change trend of N, P, K, Ca and Fe of principal root and branch root was the same. These elements were higher during early period of growth, lower during middle period of growth, returned during late period of growth. And other elements had small changes. Since dry weight and element concentrations of different organs of the tree were variable, the distribution of each element in different organs of the tree was not same. There were correlations between different elements content in same organ. N, P and Zn to other element concentration were positive correlations in one-year old branch. Ca and Zn had the same effect. But Mg to some elements was negative correlations. There were very significant positive correlations P to N and K and N to K in shoot. N, Ca,P, Mg, Fe had significant mutual effects in leave. N, P, Ca and Mg were big effect to other elements in root system. Dynamic changes of mineral elements content in all kinds of organs were basically the same for two varieties except fruit. |
