Three-year-old field planted and two-year-old potted virus-free self-rooted , virus-free grafs, common self-rooted and common grafs jujube JunZao young trees were adopted. The generation rate of O2-, content of H2O2, MDA, GSH, AsA, the activities of SOD, POD, CAT, GR, APX were researched in field natural growth conditions and under water-stress. The main results were as follows:()The changes of the generation rate of O2-, content of H2O2, MDA, GSH, AsA and the activities of SOD, POD, CAT, GR, APX in leaves of virus-free jujube Junzao trees were similiar with that in leaves of common jujube Juzao trees. There were the same chages in water-stress.(2)The generation rate of O2-, content of H2O2 , MDA, GSH, AsA and the activities of SOD, POD, CAT, GR, APX in leaves of virus-free jujube Junzao trees in the early period of growth were lower than that of common jujube Juzao trees, and the differents became significant with the growth of trees. In the later period of growth,the content or activities of all indexs in leaves of virus-free jujube Junzao trees were higher than that of common jujube Juzao trees besides the generation rate of O2-, content of H2O2 , MDA. However ,the content of AsA in leaves of virus-free jujube Junzao trees was higher than that of common jujube Juzao trees throughout the growth period .The differents were not significant in the early period of growth, only significant in the later period of growth.(3)The generation rate of O2-, content of H2O2 , MDA in leaves of virus-free jujube Junzao trees Were lower than that of common jujube Juzao trees throughout the growth period under water stress, and the differents were signigicant in the later period of growth. But the content of GSH, AsA and the activities of SOD, POD, CAT, GR, APX in leaves of virus-free jujube Junzao trees were higher than that of the common jujube Juzao trees under water stess.The generation rate of O2- increased in early stage of water-stress, decreased in middle stage of water-stress and continue to increased in the late stage of water-stress.However,the content of H2O2 and MDA increased and the content of AsA decreased in every stage of water-stess The activities of SOD, POD, CAT, GR, APX and the content of GSH in leaves of jujube Junzao trees increased in early stage of water-stress and decreased in the later stage of water-stress. POD was most sensitive to water-stress..(4)In all, there were lower ROS content and stronger abilities weeding out the ROS in virus-free jujube Junzao trees than that in common jujube Juzao trees.
