Based on the investigation of the ecological factors in the new cultivation patterns incorporating poplar into agriculture, the variant regulation of the ecological factors has been studied; the effects on the yield and quality of crops have been analyzed also. Under having stopped intercropping higher density Middle year forest, we intercrop shade-bearing pastures in order to boost them. So through the studies hope to provide suggestions for more standard and more scientific agroforestry in northern Jiangsu Province. The results indicated that because of trees the temperature, humidity, illuminance under trees in the patterns of poplar-crop are different in monoculture. Differences on tree height and row space among the patterns results in different sunlight time in space. In poplar-wheat, fringe and stalk biomass are affected differently because of tree, they show this tendency: low in the area near to tree row and high in far. In different patterns, the difference of wheat's 1000-grain-weight and starch content shows no significant, protein content in tree is higher than outside tree, especially the tendency shows clear in long row spacing. On the wheat yields the wheat's in the collocation II (30m X (3 X 5)) and V (50m X (4X5)) are slight lower than cropland, but the wheat's in the collocation IV(3 X 15m) decreased 27.8%. Through relationship analysis sunlight time inside forestry is major factor to affect the wheat's yields. In polar-rice, fringe and stalk biomass aren't affected significantly by below four years trees. In big row spacing the rice's 1000-grain-weight and starch content clearly are higher in the middle and small row spacing. In all patterns the rice's yields is lower with nearer tree row. With increasing tree's years, the yields decrease significantly. Through multilinear regression analysis the trees' height is major factor for the rice yields. The most important factors impacting profitability of an agroforestry management system are current production value. The income of five collocations are bigger than average. All of ratio of the income to the cost is more than one. The pure income of the collocation II ( 3 0 X ( 3 X 5 ) m) and V (50 X (4 X 5)m) with interplant twice in one year are most high among all collocations. The experiment that pasture was intercropped under six years trees with 4 x 8m collocation indicates the characters of soils physics and chemistry are improved and forestry upgrowth are promoted. The ratio of the income to the investment is more than 1.
