Paecilomyces fumosoroseus was an important entomopathogenic fungus mainly applied in greenhouses to control aphids, thrips and whiteflies, The study on toxins of P. fumosoroseus could be helpful not only to elucidate the action mode of entomopathogenic fungi, but also to select highly toxigenic fungal isolates and to search for new biological insecticides for the control of insect pests.In this paper, the study on extration and isolation of P. fumosoroseus toxin was conducted through methods of leaching and Thin-Layer Chromatography (TLC), The virulence of the toxin against aphids and its action on enzymes in aphids were also researched. Moreover, the experiment studied the chitin enzymes and protain enzymes in the fermented liquids. The main results were as following:1. There wre toxins in the hypha.As immersing leaching agent, methyl alcohol' result was better.The toxin had obviously caused aphids to death.Measuring the poison dint on aphids with intravenous leaching method, average mortality were :After 3 hours average mortality were 33%, after 6 hours for 36%, after 9 hours 56%.2. There were various toxins in the ferment liquid, using four kinds of organisms solvent:Benzene, chloroform, ethyl acetate and n-butyl alcohol to extract.The result discovered, the extraction effects with benzene and n-butyl alcohol were obviously better than another two kinds.It is four kinds of mortality of the aphids:After 3 hours they were:30%,27%,3% and 57%, After 6 hours they were:30%,30%,10% and 60%, after 9 hours for 37%,37%,27% and 66%.3 Through TLC with n-butyl alcohol extractions,Four kinds of different acent in n-butyl alcohol were isolated, disguishting them with the No. 1,2,3 and 4. Measuresing the mortality of aphid with them:After 3 hours they were 45%,58%,15% and 48%, after 6 hours ,they were 48%,62%,18% and 51%, after 9 hours for 62%,65%,23% and 60%.4 The toxin could show obvious represses on the leaving Ache'(acetylcholinesterase) activity , repressing rate was 33% after 8 hours, It also had certain repressing on the living Ache' activity , repressing rate was 7% after 8 hours;The toxin had hardly no influences on leaving and living CarE(carboxylesterase). The toxin had also restraint on leaving GsT(glutathion-s-transferase), repressing rate was 28% after 8 hours, hasing little restraint on living GsT, repress rate was 4% after 8 hours.5 If join chitin or protain in ferment liquid as induing things, the chitin enzyme and protain enzyme had obvious increment in activity, their increases ratio were respectively 3.4% and 2.1%.
