The function of IGF-I gene and CJDF8 gene accelerate the body growth.IGF-I gene is positive to adjust the growth, but GDF8 gene is negative to adjust, and According to GuernecA's research, 1GF-I/GDF8 may contribute to the body growth. It simply understand the different express of IGF-I gene and GDF8 gene of native blue fox and improved blue fox. the difference of GDF8/IGF-I was gained between native blue fox and improved blue fox.Based on the Canine GFD8 mRNA sequence (AY367768), and comparing with porcine, horse, sheep etc, primer pairs for amplifying complete sequence of GDF8 cDNA of blue fox was designed by using DNASTAR software. The complete sequence of GDF8 cDNA of blue fox (AY606017) is 1128bp long, and nine mutations were found between blue fox and dog.the conservation of GDF8 gene was gained between blue fox and cow, sheep, human etc. it contribute to resource the influence of GDF8 gene on the blue fox growth. It understand the express of IGF-1 gene and GDF8 gene of native blue fox and improved blue fox, and choose leg, heart, stomach, fat to resource the difference of GF-I/GDF8 ratio of native blue fox and improved blue fox.Result: 1. the expression of GDF8 gene is highest in blue fox leg, better in heart, brain, diaphragm, stomach, the expression was weak in others. 2. the mRNA expression of IGF-I gene in the each organization of the blue fox is uniform, but the expression was weak in liver and heart of improved blue fox. And the express of IGF-I gene of fat of improved blue fox is more than native, blue fox. 3.In leg, heart, stomach, the fat organization, IGF-I/ GDF8 ratio of native blue fox was less than the ratio of improved blue fox except the fat organization.
