Selection And Application Research On Restoration Line Of Three Lines Hybrid Indica Rice With Aromatic And Soft Characteristics

In the experiment ,by using five different male sterility types of rice ,we evaluated 236 aromatic and soft rice resources .which have different heredity background in Yunnan .The result shows that in the aromatic and soft rice resources in Yunnan ,ones of restoration ability occupy 12 percent and maintained ones occupy 6.3 percent .however most of the resources are half-maintained type .Part of the appraised materials such as Dianlong 201 can be changed into parent of fragrant and soft hybrid rice .Most of materials with restoration ability have IR blood relationship .A few local varieties have restoration ability .variety Diantun 502 shows week maintenance .which differs widely from the result of the research by our predecessors who thought Diantun 502 had restoration ability.Using genes of improved variety of aromatic and soft rice D ianlong 201 and Diantun 502 , adopting Minghui 63 which is used extensively .has strong restoration ability and high cooperation ability ,we successfully bred restoration line like Wenhui 206 and Wenhui 23 which have strong restoration ability .high cooperation ability .wide adaptability and rich flavour .they are also soft and high quality above the second grade of the state comprehensive target .It shows that we can rear restoration line .which gathers parents' superior appearances by hybridizing extensively used improved conventional fragrant and soft variety .and strong restoration line .which gathers parents' superior genes.Using the method of mating good and fragrant materials .intro -ducing fragrant and soft sterility line like Yixiang 1A, Wenhui 206 and Wenhui 23 ,we rear a new realignment of fragrant and soft hybrid rice Wenfu 7 and Wenfu 8 .which yield 5 percent and 15 percent more than hybrid rice Shanyou 63 and conventional fragrant soft rice Diantun 502 respectively . The experiment shows that if hybrid rice of high quality is wanted .parents should be high quality ;if hybrid rice realignment of full fragrance is wanted .parents should have a fragrance .Control of fragrance genes of rice differs in heredity background .Some are controlled by one pair of main recessive genes .Some are controlled by one pair of main recessive genes and genes which produce little effect.
