Studying on the part biochemistry mechanism of seed bourgeon and seedling resisting adversity in cucumber soaked with ammonia-resistant Strains of N2-fixing bacteria. The result showed that bourgeon influence, seedling quality and protect enzyme of cucumber cotyledon were enhanced significantly (P<0. 05) in 2% soaked with different time. The antioxidant function of seedling cotyledon was increased and the effects were obvious especially soaked in 3,4 h as a whole. Relative electrical conduct, content of MDA and activity of CAT increased in water group and activity of SOD,POD, chlorophyll content decreased after 2 d chilling stress in 5°C. This significance was more obvious after 1 d recovered. The Chlorophyll content and the activity of preotect enzyme of bacteria group increased and showed the rule of change of water group after 2 d chilling stress in 5°C too. But the activity of CAT decreased. At the same time, relative electrical conduct, content of MDA of bacteria group were lower and chlorophyll content higher than the water group(RO. 05) , the activity of SOD, CAT increased obviously and POD decreased obviously (P<0.05) after 1 d recovered. Relative water content and chlorophyll content were reduced. Relative electrical conduct, content of MDA rised and activity of SOD, POD increased. But CAT increased after decreased in rinsing group. The activity of SOD, POD and CAT increased(P<0. 05) but the content of relative water and chlorophyll decreased inaridity stress. The rised extent of relative electrical conduct and MDA of bacteria group was lower obviously than water group. The result indicated that bourgeon influence and seedling quality of cucumber were promoted, the protect enzyme of cucumber seedling were enhanced significantly and the ability of resisting low temperature and aridity was increased.
