Abstract: The synergy of recombinant enhancin of Trichoplusia ni granulosis virus,which was expressed in Escherichia coli and named as P96, while the synergy of recombinant enhancin of Pseudaletia separata entomopoxvirus, which was expressed in Escherichia coli and named as P39, the two synergies on Helicoverpa armigera nuclear polyhedrosis virus (HaNPV) against the larvae of H.armigera were studied. Eleven days after inoculation, the LC50 for HaNPV+P96 were 3.89× 104 and 3.47 × 103 polyhedra inclusion body (PIB)/mL respectively. Within the concentration of 1.6 × 1041.6 × 106 PIB/mL, the values of LT 50 for HaNPV+P96 were reduced by 0.31.8d compared with those for HaNPV. Three-dimension surfaces of cumulative mortality, as affected by both time and dose, were derived by a time-dose-mortality model. The results showed that the virulence of HaNPV was enhanced remarkably by P96. Eleven days after inoculation, the LC50 for HaNPV and HaNPV+P39 were 13831 and 1082 polyhedra inclusion bodies (PIBs)AnL, respectively. Within the concentration of 1.6×1031.6×106 PIBS/mL, the values of LT50 for HaNPV+P39 were reduced by 0.5-2.7d compared with those for HaNPV. Three-dimension surfaces of cumulative mortality, as affected by both time and dose, were derived by a time-dose-mortality model. The results showed that the virulence of HaNPV was enhanced remarkably by P39.
