Development Of A Rotary Grain Seeds Dryer

A kind of dryer which is suitable to dry the wheat, crop, soybean and most crop seeds is developed. In this paper, the structure of the dryer, the principle and process of drying, the assertion method of the structure parameter, the experiments for drying capability and the determination of capability parameters are discussed. The followings are the mainly content.1. The necessity of drying crop seeds is discussed, the technical requirement of drying crop seeds is analyzed, and the capability demand is also presented.2. This paper stated the actuality of crop seeds drying and the dryers both in internal and external, analyzed the characteristics of crop seed dryers in being. The conclusion is that the exiting crop seed dryers can not satisfy the requirement of drying hereinafter. First, the seed dryer should have a extensive applicability to satisfy the demand of most crop seeds. Second, it can ensure that different kinds of seeds will not mix together. Third, it can satisfy the requirements in different circumstance, the technical parameters should be adjustable and the moving of the equipment can be control automatically. Forth, the seeds should be in good condition. The seed dryer should not damage the seeds, this can assure the germination of the seeds and good vitality.3. This kind of crop seed dryer is made for Laiyang Agriculture college dry technical lab which is the emphases lab in Shandong province. The requirements are as follows: the weight of seeds should be less than or equal to 100 kilogram; the different seeds should not mix together; the dryer should ensure the security of seeds; it should has a high automatization degree and drying speediness. According to these requirements, the structure of dryer is designed. The rotary cylinder crop seed dryer is adopted after project analyzing and comparing.4. Based on the rated dry weight and capability demand of the dryer, such works have been done: the diameter and axis length of the rotary cylinder crop seed dryer are confirmed; the relation between the copy board parameters, cylinder rotating speed and the mathematical model of the moving track of seed is built; the uniformity function that seeds distributing in the rotary cylinder is brought forward; the copy board size and cylinder rotating speed are confirmed according to the requirement of the uniformity.5. The automatic dump and discharge machine is designed and working principle of it is discussed, the power of rotary driving generator is calculated, the decelerating machine and moving system are also designed.6. After the sample experiment, the experiment method and measure data are got, the result of experiment is analyzed.
