| It is a common phenomenon that plum has plenty flowers but low fruit set, that leads to the lower yield. And this become a pressing problem in yield which need to be solved. In this experiment, Angenuo, Qiuji, and Gaixiandali plum were used to find the physiology causes of dropping peaks for the purposes of directing to raise the yield and giving a theory foundation . The study was done by investigating the regulars of blossom and fruit-setting, and by measuring the nutritional contents in one-year branch and growing fruit. The main results were as follows:1. The four cultivars have different fruit-set rates. The rate of qiuji is the highest by the fruit set rate of 17.08%, angenuo is 7.42%, Gaixiandali is 5.91%. The main causes are the differences of development of flowered organs and the validities of pollination and fertilization.2. The effective degree of the fertile flower rate on fruit set is 0.5616, and other factors is 0.8274.3. The fertile flower rate is restricted by reservoir nourishment level, and the correlations among Ca, K, protent and fertile flower rate are 0.812, 0.774 and 0.705.4. The fertilization process need about 96 hours to 120 hours to be finished. The mixed pollen begins to germinate in 4 hours, and the ability of germination can keep as long as 4 days.5. The nutritional contents are about the same in three cultivars, and have the analogous alternation pattern during budding to endorcarp hardening stage. At the beginning of blossom, the content of protein, amino acid, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and the zinc reached the highest level, after that they all drop to and keep a lower level. |
