In a research of tritrophic system including P. massoniana,D. punctatus, and the four species of parasitoids, the volatiles of intact and damaged P. massoniana were collected with the method of dynamic headspace absorption and identified with GC-MS;EAG responses of B. zebina,C. matsukarehae,M. minor and G. octocinctus to the substances of the volatiles were tested;Dose-responses of B. zebina to serial stimulus loads of 8 standard chemicals and the threshold were measured and analyzed. The substances from the cuticles and frass of D. punctatus were extracted with hexane and identified with GC-MS. The major results are listed as follows:1. The volatiles of intact and damaged P. massoniana belongs to 4 different chemical classes including fatty acid derivatives, hydrocarbon monoterpenes, oxygenated monoterpenes and sesquiterpenoids. There are 23 species of substances in the volatiles including cis-3-hexen-1-ol,cis-3-hexenyl acetate,nonanal,1-octen-3-ol,3-octanol,α-pinene,β-pinene,myrcene,α-terpinene,γ-terpinene , limonene ,α-phellandrene , terpinolene , camphene ,2,6-dimethyl-2,4,6-octatrien,ocimene,3-carene,linalool,α-terpineol,bornyl acetate , linalyl acetate ,β-caryophyllene , longifolene. Hydrocarbon monoterpenes have the largest quantity and other chemical classes have the small quantity in the 4 different chemical classes. The volatiles of intact and damaged P. massoniana are same in the substances but different in the quantities.2. There are 17 species of substances can elicit obvious EAG responses of B. zebina including cis-3-hexen-1-ol,cis-3-hexenyl acetate,1-octen-3-ol,3-octanol , linalool , limonene ,α-phellandrene ,α-terpineol ,2,6-dimethyl-2,4,6-octatrien,nonanal,ocimene,γ-terpinene,myrcene,3-carene,β-pinene,terpinolene,α-terpinene. Dose-response of B. zebina to serial stimulus loads (0.1μg/μL,1μg/μL,10μg/μL,100μg/μL,1000μg/μL) of 8 standard chemicals and the threshold were also measured and analyzed. Dose-response curves constructed from EAGs revealed a low threshold for cis-3-Hexen-1-ol and linalool (0.1μg/μL), a moderate threshold for nonanal (1μg/μL) and a high threshold for Limonene,α-phellandrene,...
