According to investigations, 90% of the active substances selected from terrestrial microorganisms are known presently, and it makes difficulties for selecting active substances further. But marine microorganisms can produce plentiful active substances which have unique molecular structure and high bioactive distinct from terrestrial microorganisms, because they live in high salt, high pressure, low temperature, low illumination, low nutrition and other special circumstances, and this has been confirmed in the medical field. It was lack of systematic research screening agro-bioactive substances through secondary metabolites of marine microorganisms because of the lower level of applied researches of marine microorganisms in agriculture. In present paper, Biological characteristics, the optimal culture conditions of active marine microorganisms and extraction, separation of active ingredients were systemically studied with Plutella xylostella and Spodoptera litra cell line as target objects. It may provide some clues and theoretical basis for the development and utilization of marine microorganisms in the future. The results could be summarized as follows:1. Six high active strains were screened out. 16 better bioactive strains were first screened out from 285 strains collected from different zones and different hosts, and the positive rate was 5.61%. In the 16 strains, lv7-1,QJ-9, RSHF503,02AB8a,T31 and BBY9-4 six strains were secondly screened out by cytotoxic tests of Spodoptera litra cell line with positive rate 2.11%.2. The first screening results showed that there were 6 high active strains were collected from extreme environment such as the Arctic, the Bering Sea and the Antarctic, in 16 avtive strains. And 13 active strains were collected from sea mud, sea sand and other abiotic organisms, 3 active strains were collected from algae, sponges, moss and other live organisms.3. Optimal culture conditions of QJ-9, T31 and BBY9-4 were acquired.(1) When the time was 120h, pH value was 7, the volume was 200mL, carbon source was glucose and nitrogen source was peptone, QJ-9 had the best cytotoxic activity. When the time was 84h, pH value was 6, the volume was...
