The 3'-terminal genome of eight Turnip mosaic virus (TuMV) isolates collected from radish, Chinese cabbage, cabbage and rape in Hebei, Beijing and Shandong Provinces were cloned and analyzed. These isolates could be clustered into three groups according to the nucleotide sequences of their coat ptrotein genes. The phylogenetic analysis results of these sequences and those available in the Genbank showed that Chinese TuMV isolates belong to three groups and for the first time isolates within Basal-BR group were found to occur in China. The 3'-terminal genome of 29 Potato virus Y (PVY) isolates collected from six provinces including Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Yunnan, Gansu and Heilongjiang were cloned and sequenced. The nucleotide sequences of the coat protein genes were compared with other 85 isolates from the Genbank. Three groups mat are corresponding to strain N, O and C were clustered. The recombinant isolates of NTN were clustered into a subgroup within N strain. The isolates of N:O formed a subgroup within O strain. The isolates determined in this study, TX91, AQ1, MY60, F8, HN8, A33, were clustered into N group; TX91 and AQ1 into NTN subgroup. H20, H18, H11, F4, MY55, MY59, Q23, ZC37, ZC39, A26, A2, A5, HN6, HN10, HN43, G5, G14, G10, G1, G8, G15 were grouped into the O strain. The HC-Pro gene sequences of 25 isolates from the 29 isolates described above were cloned and sequenced. The nucletide sequences of 69 PVY HC-Pro genes were analyzed and formed two groups that were associated necrosis symptom on the Nicotiana tabacum. Combined the phylogenetics tree of CP nucleotide sequences, it showed that many isolates transferred from the O cluster of the CP tree to the N cluster of...
