Fagopyrum dibotrys (D. Don) Hara is a kind of traditional herbal medicine of China. It is a second-class protected wild plant as well as an endangered plant species in China. The wild Fagopyrum dibotrys mainly distributes in Wanzhou, Fuling, Qianjiang, Nanchuan and Youyang of Chongqing. Scientific studies have proved that it is a valuable plant and has a good further for medicinal uses. The present study mainly focus on the growth dynamics, physiological response and biomass allocation of Fagopyrum dibotrys under three kinds of different stress conditions in order to supply some evidences for its nutritional and officinal uses as well as its protection. The result reveals as follows:1, Fertilization have stimulative effect to the growth, increase of nutritional and reproductive apparatus and accumulation of modular biomass. The numbers of first and second class branches , total leaf and first-class inflorescences etc. show such order as F2 >F1 >Fck with increase of fertilization quantities.Fertilizing treatments produce different effect to physiological index also. We find that the high fertilizing treatment is propitious to the increase of soluble sugar content with quantities increasing of fertilization at Fck, F1 and F2 levels during our test. Medium fertilizing treatment is propitious to the increase of praline and makes against the cumulation of protein and chlorophyll. There is supplement each other during whole period. It can provide favorable condition for its adaptation.
