Study Of Bioactivity Of Chitooligosaccharide And Its Dodecylbenzenesulfonic Acid Salt

In this paper, a derivative of chitooligosaccharide(COS) was synthesized by the reaction of COS and dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid(LAS). The product (L-C) was characterized by FT-IR, ~1H-NMR and UV, and was proved as a salt. The inhibition activity of COS and L-C on some phytopathogens fungi was studied by means of the mycelium growth rate in vitro and sporangia germination method. The control effect of COS and L-C against cucumber gray mould by cotyledon screen sizing method and the test in potted plant. Activities of the defense enzymes involved in POD, PPO and PAL induced by COS and L-C were measured by two different treatments of different concentrations and different induced time. The results indicate, COS and L-C have the effect of inhibition on some Phytopathogen fungi. And the effect will be better following the increasing of the treatment concentration.
