Desert improving temperature effect caused heat of oasis distribution. In order to further understand the influence acting on the cotton in different areas on the effect of desert improving temperature, the research analyzed the diversity of ecological and physiologic indexes of cotton on improving temperature effect in Junggar basin, it drew the conclusions:1. The growth climate resources were obvious discrepancy in different areas of oasis because of desert improving temperature effect, the mean daily atmosphere temperature showed : desert(24.07℃)>area 20km off desert(23.43℃);≥10℃effective accumulated temperature showed :desert(1772.44℃.d)> area 20km off desert(1692.58℃.d);the mean daily grand temperature showed: desert(23.85℃)>area 20km off desert(22.39℃);the daily range of temperature showed: desert(15.76℃)>area 20km off desert(15.08℃).2. Desert improving temperature effect was availing to accelerate the growth process of cotton. Full—bearing period days of cotton in desert was 122 days, areas 20km off desert and 70km off desert were 124 days and127 days, the growth process of cotton in desert was earlier two days and five days than other two areas'. Plant height, growth rate of leaf, bud numbers of individual plant, boll numbers of individual plant of cotton were superior to other two areas', with desert improving temperature effect becoming strong, 40 days after seeding.3. Higher the temperature was and greater the daily range of temperature was, with the distances decreased from desert, so the dry matter accumulation of cotton were large and accumulation velocity was fast. The fastest stage and crucial stage of dry matter accumulation of cotton anticipated in desert. Because the daily range of temperature of the area closing desert was large, the single boll weights (single boll weights were 5.41g,5.28g and 4.81g in three areas) and biological yields (biological yields were 407.37kg.6667m-2,385.19 kg.6667m-2 and 338.93 kg.6667m-2 in three areas) were distinct divergence in three areas.4. The LAI of cotton were unimodal curves in three areas. Because the atmosphere temperature ascent fast in desert on improving temperature effect, the LAI of cotton grow quickly too; The LAI of cotton descent slowly because of compensatory action of desert improving temperature effect. The LAI of cotton attained the maximum value (LAI maximum value of cotton were 4.28,4.07 and 3.66 in three areas), which could continue for a good while at multi-boll stage.5. Par and Tair showed discrepancy in different areas on desert improving temperature effect, which leaded the discrepancy of mean daily values of Pn and Tr to express obvious different and made a distinct influence on chlorophyll contents of cotton leaves at flower boll stage. The chlorophyll contents of cotton leaves are highest in desert, it were caused by difference of average temperature and ground water contents through correlative analysis.6. The ground temperature of the area closing desert is higher than other two areas'on the desert improving temperature effect, so root activity of cotton was higher than other two areas cotton's too. The major factors influencing root activity of cotton were ground temperature and atmosphere temperature through principal component analysis.
