With the development of computerized capacity, Virtual Reality is being used in education, industry, agriculture, commercial business, medical treatment, etc. In the paper, a dynamic model of rice was built initiatorily, which was based on a great lot data of rice growing and developing in the field. It may be used for rice breeding, rice shape modifying and culture managing on theoretical ground.A parallelly simulated model was developed based on the mechanism of feedback between plant morphological architecture and eco-physiological function. In the dissertation, the time interval was set by growth cycle (GC) and the architectural unit by metamer. The model was comprised of several sub-modules including developmental module, assimilate production module, and assimilate partitioning and accumulation module and organ's morphological construction module. The developmental module performs the predictions of rice growth process based on the linear correlation between the increase in the number of metamers and the change in accumulative temperature; the assimilate production module estimates the assimilate yield on the basis of linear correlation between the increase in the net assimilate on rice shoot part and the change in leaves area; the assimilate partitioning and accumulation module describes how the sum of the assimilate allocated to each organ by the ratio of the weight of each organ. The organs' morphological construction module realizes the simulation on the organ's geometric architecture based on the relationship between the fresh weight of leaves, internodes and geometric architecture as well as the organs' accumulation biomass. The dissertation uses Delphi as a programming tool to develop a software 'Virtual-Rice' which can simulate rice growth process. The calculated model parameters and the meteorological data from the year 2005 were input into the model. The software simulated the assimilate partitioning among different organs. And then, a dynamic model of rice will be built by L-studio software.
