Two different types of cones were used for this experiment: super high yielding corns and common yield corns. Through determining the main enzyme activity and physiological indexes in growth stage, compared the difference in resist senescence between high yielding corns and common corns, the characteristic of physiology and biochemistry were explored in order to know the mechanism of high yield. And the theory of super-high-yield breeding and planting. High yield types of corns: Xianyu335, Zhengdan958; comment yield corns: Changcheng799, TongjilOO.This experiment was conducted in the experimented station of Jilin Agricultural University. In the whole growth stage we determined following the activity of super oxide dismutase (SOD), peroxides (POD), catalase (CAT) and the content changes of chlorophyll (Chl), soluble protein, malondialdehyde (MDA). Yield complications were determined in mature stage.The results of this experiment showed that:1 The LAI of compact hybrid corn Zhengdan958 and Xianyu335 was higher than horizonal hybrid corn Changcheng799 and Tongji100, The cure of compact hybrid corn was steeper and swifter and the peak value was higher. The summit was during the grouting. The LAI of four corns was: Xianyu33 5:7.09; Zhengdan958:6.43; Changcheng799:5.13; Tongji 100:4.742 In the whole growth stage, the content of chlorophyll was changed with the single peak, and the summit was at the grouting. The main rule was: the content of chlorophyll ascended continually from trumpet to grouting. the peak was the grouting, then descended. The Chl content order of the four corns was: Changcheng799> Tongji 100> Xianyu335> Zhengdan958, respectively.3 In the whole growth stage, the soluble content of high yield corns was higher than the common yield corns. The peak was at the grouting and then descended, the soluble content felled rapidly at anaphase.4 In the whole growth stage, the POD activity of the four corns was the single peak, and the high yield corns was higher than the common yield corns.5 In the whole growth stage, the SOD activity of the four corns was the single peak, and the summit was at the milky and then descended. The high yielding corns was higher than the common corns. The SOD activity of the super high yielding corns descended slowly after the milky, but the SOD activity of the common corns descended rapidly.
