Tyrophagus putrescentiae(Schrank ) a classification species in Arachnida is a major worldwide pest found in stored-products.Aiming at finding out effects of different relative humidity and temperature conditions on egg hatch, adult survival and fecundity. This study was designed to observe the life history and procreation behavior of the mold mite, which were fed by cole farina. Moreover, the mold mite was applied to prevent Cerambycidae pest for possible practice actualization. Results could be summarized as follows:1.Different temperature gradients can have different impacts on the development of Tyrophagus putrescentiae(Schrank).Given a temperature ranged from 15℃ to 30℃, the required optimum humidity is higher than 75 % .When the temperature surpasses 35℃,the optimum humidity needs to be over 85 % .Consequently.temperature and humidity have different influences on its egg growth and hatch, the adult survival and fecundity. The temperature mainly affects on growing time span.Whereas the humidity can do on egg hatch, adult survival and daily oviposit.2.The life history and procreation behavior of the mold mite, which were fed by cole farina, were observed at six different temperature gradients (15℃,20℃,25℃, 28℃,30℃ and 35℃).Basically,the development process will experience egg, larva, Immovability stage of larva, protonymph, immovability stage of protonymph, deutomvmph, immovability stage of deutomvmph, adult and immovability stage of adult as well. The growth period will be shortened during 15-30℃. From egg to adult,it needs 42.63d at 15℃ , while at 30℃ it needs only 11.8d. Thus, the temperature can have significant effect on growth rate. However, while at 35℃ the growth period is longer than that at 30℃ .possibly because of sideeffect of the high temperature.3.The behavior of parthenogenesis about Tyrophagus putrescentiae can not be observed in lab, only by amphimixis can it reproduce. And its eggs were disseminated -laying.The mold mite is also featuring water-resistant.The acrawl-ability of Tyrophag -us putrescentiae will be increased while temperature ascends.4.Live Cerambycidae pest was applied to feed Tyrophagus putrescentiae.
