The Sloping Land Soil Erosion Under Different Land Use In The West Of Sichuan

The soil erosion is the direct cause of the water and soil loss which is the Principal objective and task of territorial renovation. Different land use types can effect slope runoff and soil erosion. But unreasonable land use pattern is the main reason of the water and soil loss. It is important for southwest of Sichuan to study on soil erosion at mountain area in purpose of preventing from soil and water loss, controlling deteriorate of environment. Sum up research in our country and abroad, it is now the major direction to study on soil erosion using geography information system, which combines soil erosion model and GIS to simulate the amount of soil erosion and environment factor.Based on geographical information system technology and CSLE model, the paper calculated the amount of soil erosion of the hillslope of Meng Mountain. The results showed that the intensity of erosion was medium and mean erosion modulus was 17852.73 t/a in the whole study area in 2004, that is to say, the mount of soil erosion was 3636 t/km~2 ? a. The area of soil erosion of medium degree, strong degree, stronger degree and extremely strong degree was 3.18km~2, 64.77of the whole study area and the mount of soil erosion was 16791.08t/a, accounting for 93.96% of the total amount. The state of the soil erosion was serious. According to 《Standards for classification and gradation of soil erosion》 (SL 190-96), we can find that this system will be good to get real time and accurate data. The erosion ratio of different land use types showed the following order: forestland> sloping farmland > tea garden> fruit garden> glass land.
