In order to make up the lack of Potassium, improve the planting benefit of corn and search fine corn germ plasm resource, it is very realistic to filtrate and use corn genotype which has high ability to absorb Potassium and can tolerate low Potassium in agricultural growth. In order to prove up different genotype corn's ability of absorbing Potassium, nutrition characteristic and tolerating low Potassium , this article studied 12 different corn genotype systemically by seedling depletion and potted plant , soil culture experiment with low Potassium in soil. The result were:1. Seedling depletion experiment showed: There is significant difference between Potassium accumulating amount of different corn genotype. Nongda 86 is best in absorbing and accumulating Potassium and sweet corn is worst. In soil seedling depletion experiment, the ratio of absorbing mineral Potassium is highest, the next slow-release Potassium and the lowest is available Potassium.2.Potted plant experiment shows again: Nongda86 has the highest Potassium content and it accumulates a lot of Potassium in the soil with low Potassium, and the yield of which is higher than other corn genotype; and the quantity of absorbed Potassium of sweet corn is lowest. The result is coincident with seedling depletion experiment, and the result shows it is applicable to use seedling depletion experiment to judge the corn's ability of absorbing Potassium.3.Soil culture experiment shows that Nongda86 having high absorbing Potassium can still absorb and accumulate more Potassium to meet the need of self growth and to gain more yield, and it is a variety which can absorb Potassium a lot and then it can tolerate low Potassium. Liaoyu 18 can use Potassium with high efficiency and it can grow normally and gain ideal yield with low Potassium,it belongs to a variety which can use Potassium in higher efficiency and can tolerate low Potassium。4.When using high content Potassium, Denghai9 has the highest absorbing and accumulating Potassium amount, and its increasing yield is higher and the using efficiency of Potassium is higher too, and it is"sensitive to Potassium"variety. There are also Nongda108, LLiaoyu93-1,368 , etc which has this ability. Potassium should applied first in such corn variety in order to gain the highest increasing yield efficiency with finite Potassium. Corn variety which has unconspicuous increasing production efficiency include Nongda86 which has strong ability to absorb Potassium ,sweet corn which needs low Potassium , Liaoyu18 which can use Potassium in higher efficiency and these varieties which have higher ability to tolerate low Potassium.5.According experiment condition of this study, these varieties which have increasing ratio under 15% and the fractional yield above 85% belong to varieties which can tolerate low Potassium; These varieties which have increasing ratio under 10% and the fractional...
