The paper investigates the soil water and its influencing factors of the herbage larch forest in the Great Xingan Mountains'permafrost land in order to reveal the affect of the high_latitude frozen soil movement on soil water of the forest under the global climate change and to analyze the variable rule of soil water of the herbage larch forest during the soil-water thawing period and does some basic researches for the significant deterioration and movement of frozen soil and the larch forest land. The study shows that the soil of the herbage larch forest in the Great Xingan Mountains consists of three layers. During thawing period, its soil water changes as season changes (the dynamic rule of soil water has the important relation of the season): from June to July the quality-moisture content of soil water gradually increases and reaches the highest, and from July to August it begins to decreases. The range of the quality-moisture content of the ground litter and humus layer is lower than the illuvial horizon whose quality-moisture content is gradually increasing in this thawing season. At the same time the water content of the top of slope is smaller than the bottom. The change of soil unsaturated pondage has the similarity of the soil water. The soil water will be influenced by the soil bulk density, special weight of soil, soil texture, soil porosity and so on. The change of the climate makes frozen soil thawing to increase the soil water. The dynamic rule of the soil quality-moisture content is mainly affected of the rainfall and the local frozen-thawing soil.
