| The cure of the piglet's diarrhea is mainly by feed antibiotics. The disadvantages of antibiotics are becoming increasingly prominent. For example,the animal immunity is low and easy get the secondary induced infection;the resistance of antibiotics is not satisfactory for the application, the residue of it is very harmful for human health. Antibiotics are being replaced by many other substitutes, such as microecological agents, acidifier, enzyme preparation and plant extract et al. Probiotics are live microorganisms that can survive when passing through gastrointestinal tract and have beneficial effects on the host. Bacillus is one kind of microecological agents.The Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) serotype of k88, k99, 987p are the main specific pathogens, which cause the diarrhea of piglets, and result in enormous losses to pig farming industry . The study was to select bacillus that can restrain the Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC), resist to acid and bilesalt from fresh manure of health pigs. By preliminary identification, the bacillus B12 is Bacillus Licheniformis. The optimum temperature, rotation speed and initial pH was 39 ℃, 180 r/min and 7.6, respectively. The starch, beef and soybean peptone and NaCl in the optimum seed culture medium is 1%, 3.0% and 0.5%, and the microbe number of B12 could reach 34.1×10~9CFU/ml after 24 hours' fermentation. The glucose, soybean meal and corn syrup in the optimum ferment culture medium is 25g/L, 70g/L and 9g/L, respectively, and the microbe number of B12 could reach 10.9×10~9CFU/ml after 24 hours' fermentation.The bacillus licheniformise B12 could fulfill the conditions required by bacillus agents.
