In order to explore the mechanism of the cotton fiber strength formation and its relation with ecology factor of climate,discussing to improve fiber strength,through choosing the different cotton varieties of Xinluzao10 and Xinluzao16 in fiber strength and adopting the way of different sowing staging,the items analyzed the rule of cellulose accumulation and the mechanism of fiber strength formation and its relation with meteorological factors. The main results are given bellow:1 The result of influence on the cellulose accumulation and the fiber strength by meteorological factorsThe content of cellulose variety took on a"S"curve. Its rate of accumulation was slow at the beginning and ending, and its rate was faster at the middle of accumulation of cellulose. The rate of cellulose acculumation declined as the temperature went down and its beginning time and ending time, the sowing dateⅠwas earlier, the sowing dateⅡwas later and the sowing dateⅢwas the last because of temperature's going down, but the continuance time was in reverse. The difference about the content of cellulose was not significant in mature fiber(p>0.05). The result of fiber strength at different sowing date wasⅠ>Ⅱ>Ⅲ, and the sowing dateⅠwas significant with the sowing dateⅡ,Ⅲ. The content of cellulose in mature fiber was not the main factor on different fiber strength, and the difference was formed in the fiber development.When the lowest temperature of cotton boll stage reached 13.77℃and the average temperature reached 23.70℃, the fiber strength of Xinluzao10 reduced significantly. When the average temperature reached 23.25℃, activity accumulated temperature (≥15℃) reached 386.89℃, the fiber strength of Xinluzao16 reduced large significantly. These results were obtained by stepwise regression equation.2.
