This paper is the research about the biological properties of Paecilomyces cateniannulatus the quality to cause the Cabbage caterpillar and aphid infected and the mechanism of the infection. The most suitable C source for Paecilomyces cateniannulatus is grape sugar and malt sugar. The fit range of growth temperature is 20-30℃,and the most suitable one is 27℃.The successive illumination accelerates the colony growth. The colony can grow under PH 3-12.The suitable limit of such growth is PH6-8.Optimum PH is 7 (Natural PH).The grape sugar benefit that fungus to produce spores. The fit temperature limit to produce spores is 15℃-30℃, and the optimum temperature is 27 ℃ .The successive illumination improves Paecilomyces cateniannulatus that live on the PDA culture medium to yield spores and accelerates spores' germination. The fit range of PH for spores' germination is 6-8. The optimum PH is 7.The fit temperature for Paecilomyces cateniannulatus spore to germinate is 20-33℃. The most suitable one is 27 ℃ .That the temperature is more than 35℃ or lower than 15℃ is bad for the spore to germinate. The fit relative humidity for the spore to germinate is more than 75%. Successive illumination is favor for Paecilomyces cateniannulatus to germinate. The fit PH for spore to germinate is 3-6. The most suitable PH is 4-5. Acidity is favor for germination. The density of 108 Paecilomyces cateniannulatus spores is suitable to infect the cabbage caterpillar and aphid. Under the same concentration, the death rate of young larva is obviously higher than the death rate of old larva. In the middle lethal value(LT50),it is higher as the age goes up. At the same age, it goes down as the concentration goes up.The solid compost of Paecilomyces cateniannulatus was studied. The results showed that the sporulation in liquid media with 30% of the solid media was the best A, B and J were the best three prearations. In the respect of soil samples, the erect decrease in the following sequence: pondsoil, gardensoil, contaminative soil.
