| The shortage of water resources is still serious and becoming a "bottle-necked" for prosperous development of our national economy in this century. The methods to relieve the conflicts in the supply and need of water resources, one is to exploitate and the other is to economize, economizing water resources is the foremost method.Aimed at sustainable and harmonious developments of agriculture and effective utilization of water resources in arid and semiarid areas, the infiltration characteristics of freeze-thaw (FT) soil under different surface treatments and influences of soil temperature and soil moisture content on infiltration capacity(H90) during the seasonal FT period are analyzed in this paper.There are seven kind of surface treatments: non-cultivated bare plot(LD), plastic film mulching plot(MD), corn straw mulching plot(JD), plastic film and corn straw double mulching plot(JMD), winter wheat bare plot(XLD), winter wheat corn straw mulching plot(XJD) and grassland(CD). 252 set of infiltration tests are conducted by the self-making double ring infiltrometer and using one-dimension vertical infiltration method, soil temperature and soil moisture content are monitored simultaneously.
