The characters of physiological and ecological, anti-senility, photosynthesis, growth and agronomy characters of different starch content of cassava varieties were studied in this experiment. The cassava varieties were high starch content of cassavas, GR891, FuXuan01 and low starch content of cassava, SC124, SC201. The main results were showed as follows:For the physiological and biochemical characters, there were significant differences between high starch content of cassavas varieties and low starch content of cassava varieties. The leaves of high starch content of cassavas contained more soluble protein content, soluble sugar content and chlorophyll content, but letter in late growing period. But low starch content of cassava varieties showed negatively about these characters.The photosynthetic characters of high starch content of cassavas varieties were different from low starch content of cassavas varieties.
