Objective:To research the effects of Intra-aortic balloon pumping (IABP) on slow coronary flow and no-reflow phenomenon in emergency Percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:Clinical data of51acute myocardial infarction patients after PCI with angiographic slow flow(26cases) and no-reflow phenomenon(25cases) were retrospectively analyzed between January2006and December2010. They were divided into two groups in both cases.25patients were performed IABP. other26patients as control group. Observe differences of cardiac structure,Brain natriuretic peptide and cardiac ventricle systolic function between two groups, observe several Vasoactive substances including plasma renin activity (PRA), aldosterone (ALD),angiotensin â…¡ (ANG â…¡), norepinephrine (NE) and epinephrine (E) as well as Cardiac injury markers(MYO,CK-MB, cTnI) in both groups after the different interventions. In addition, cardiac structure and cardiac ventricle systolic function including Left atrium medial diameter (LAMD),Left ventricular medial diameter(LVMD),Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was evaluated after10days,3months,6months. All data statistics was analysed by SPSS17.0.Results:The peak of Cardiac injury markers and BNP had advanced in IABP group in both slow flow group and no-reflow group, there are significant differences between IABP group and the control group(P<0.05); The several Vasoactive substances decreased much rapidly in IABP groups than that in the control groups, there are significant differences(P<0.05). The LVEF of10days,3months,6months of IABP groups are significant different from control groups (P<0.05). But the LAMD and LVMD targets of IABP groups compared with the control groups have no significant differences (P>0.05).Conclusions:IABP is useful in slow coronary flow and no-reflow phenomenon, and has infuences in the remodling of the heart.
