Objective:Understand the use and advantages of china spinal cord injury database.Methods:With china spinal cord injury database, using unified questionnaire, collecting patient information.Results:The ratio of male to female was10.67:1, the mean age at the time of injury was50.06years, and29cases of worker and peasants (82.58%). The causes most frequently seen were falls from a height and traffic accidents. The incidences of affected segments were:cervical segments28.57%, thoracic17.14%, and thoracolumbarl1.43%.34.29%were complete injury and65.71%were incomplete. By ASIA classification, the functional classification of spinal cord mainly A and D, accounting for34.29%and25.71%respectively.35patients of depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms were25cases and17cases.Conclusion:By china national spinal cord injury, analysis of all aspects of patients and understand the clinical characteristics of acute spinal cord injury.
