Objective1. We do the clinical research of the result using Minor Blue Dragon comb to cure asthma and cough. We can find out the improvement of patients got acute or chronic bronchitis are cured by Minor Blue Dragon comb.2.-The research of process and effect using Minor Blue Dragon comb to cure patients got acute or chronic bronchitis is using Minor Blue Dragon comb increased or decreased according to different symptoms. Then we can discuss whether there is relativity between the course of diseases and curative effect after the same cure.MethodsWe collected 30 patients got asthma or cough accorded with diagnosis to take ShengChang concentrative Chinese medicine according to their weight. Every time they took 2～6g,3 times a day, Imonth a treatment and 2 treatments entirely. All patients chosen to take Minor Blue Dragon comb increased or decreased according to different symptoms. We got the grade of treatment according to SPIEGEL form. The course of treatment is 2 months. We would evaluate the patients taking medicines before,1 and 2 months later, and then we could find out the degree of improvement after 1 and 2 moths. The resultsThe results of efficacy of the treatment about 30 cases were as follows:one month after the treatment:3 cases (10%) is effective obviously,25 cases (83%) is effective,2 cases (6%) is ineffective, the efficiency of total cases is 94%; two months after the treatment:25 cases (83%) is effective obviously, 5 cases (16.6%) is effective, the efficiency of total cases is 100%. We could take the view of the grades of symptoms:the grades of patients got wheezing, cough, expectoration, chest tightness and wheezing symptoms were significantly decreased after the treatment. The difference was significant (P<0.01) statistically. The grades decreased more significantly after the treatment 2moths later than before. The results indicated that the patient’s symptoms were significantly improved after the treatment using Chinese medicine.ConclusionBecause of the clinical experience and observation of the treatment for patients, we found the efficacy of the treatment by Minor Blue Dragon comb curing chronic bronchial cough is very well. The clinical observations show that the total effective rate was 94.00%. After statistics, the patient got cough improved obviously by taking Minor Blue Dragon comb and the symptoms of chest tightness, expectoration, wheezing and cough was also improved. There is no side effects and negative reaction, so Minor Blue Dragon comb is worth developing deeply.
