Object:The object is to observe the efficacy and safety of acpuncture combined Zishen Shengjing Decoction in treatment of infertility asthenozoospermia with kidney yin and yang deficiency.The program is assessed scientifically and legitimately.Method:This clinical study involve prospective, random methods. Considering the longer course of treatment and other factors may fall lost, so 80 subjects met the inclusion criteria are included, who have treatment in China Xiyuan Hospital infertility outpatient. Patients are randomly divided in a 1:1 ratio into the two groups, which are acupuncture and medicine combined group(acupuncture with Zishen Shengjing Decoction)and Chinese medicine group (Zishen Shengjing Decoction). Selected cases been ruled out female factors and other causes of infertility. The composition of Zishen Shengjing Decoction is:Radix Rehmanniae, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Fructus corni, astragalus root, Codonopsis, angelica, Poria, Atractylodes, Radix Ophiopogonis, polygonatum, deerhorn glue, semen cuscutae, medlar, fructus Schisandrae, raspberry, Semen Plantaginis. Above compositions are made into granule decoction, and taken twice a day, once a bag. Acupuncture prescription is:dorsal:Pishu, Senshu, Mingmen, Yaoyangguan,Sanyinjiao, Taixi; ventral:Zhongji, Guanyuan, Qihai, Tianshu,Zhongwa n, Xuehai, Tianshu, Zhongwan, Xuehai, Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, Taixi. Above prescription is given once per day, ventral and dorsal alternation,3 times a week. Course of treatment is 3 months, acupuncture and medicine combined group and Chinese medicine group are given with one course of treatment each. Examinations:Observe before and after treatment progressive sperm (PR), sperm density, sperm livability rate(PR+NP), TCM syndrome score, clinical symptoms. Safety indicators are:general physical examination or vital signs, blood and urine culture, liver and kindey function,etc.Result:In this observation,1 acupuncture and medicine combined group case exfilated and 79 patients completed cbservation. Statistical analysis showed: First, before and after treatment on sperm quality the two group are statistically significant (P< 0.05).Second,after the treatment, acupuncture and medicine combined group and Chinese medicine group total efficiency rates are 76.%,70%;cured rates are 15.4%,10%; significant efficiency rates are 43.6%,27.5%; efficiency rates are 23.1%,30%; no efficiency rates are 23. 30%. There is significant difference between the clinical efficiency rates of two groups (P< 0.05) At last, after treatment, PR value and PR value of magnitude improvement of two group show statistical signif icancy (P< 0.05); sperm density and PR+NP of two group show no statistical signif icancy (p> 0.05). Two groups of patients with TCM syndrome score and improvement of clinical symptoms have a significant effect (p< 0.05), but after treatment, there is no difference between the two groups, (p>0.05). Combined Acupuncture and Medicine group is superior to traditional Chinese medicine group (p<0.05) in improving the body tired fatigue, weak waist, abdominal pain.Conclusion:In treatment of infertility asthenozoospermia with kidney yin and yang deficiency, both Acpuncture combined Zishen Sheng jing Decoction and using Zishen Shengjing Decoction merely can have good efficacy, improve sperm quality and promote fertility. TCM clinical symptoms improved significantly.The comprehensive effective of Acpuncture combined medicine group is better than Chinese medicine group and there are no adverse events during and after treatment, therefore proved that acupuncture is a safe treatment and can well be used.
