Efficacy Of Manipulation Combined With Small Plywood External Fixation And Open Reduction Of Hand - Plate Plate Internal Fixation For Treatment Of Complex Distal Radial Fractures In The Elderly

Purpose: To contrast the manipulative little splints combined with the openreduction and plate fixation treatment complicated articular distal radiusfractures， this paper discusses the effect of complicated articular distalradius with fracture treatment.Material and method: A retrospective study of Orthopedic Hospital of JointSurgery November2012to January2014were60cases of complex patients witharticular distal radius fractures. The treatment group used conservativetreatment，the male in11cases, female in19patients, a total of30cases;The comparison group uses volar plate fixation, the male in13cases, femalein17patients, a total of30cases. Followed up for3-4months, an averageof3.7months.Results: Two groups of patients were in8～12weeks to heal standard, healingrate is100%. The comparison of statistics:(1) height of distal radial: beforeand after surgery in the group is p <0.01, with statistical significance;Preoperative group is compared between p>0.05, no statistical significance;The group is compared between p <0.05, there is obvious difference.(2) palmartilt angle: before and after surgery in the group is p <0.01, with statisticalsignificance; Preoperative group is compared between p>0.05, no statisticalsignificance; The group is compared between p <0.05, there is obviousdifference.(3) radial inclination: before and after surgery in the group isp <0.01, with statistical significance; Preoperative group is compared betweenp>0.05, no statistical significance; The group is compared between p <0.05,there is obvious difference.(4) the symptom score and the curative effect,p>0.05, no statistical difference.(5) the postoperative complications: thereis obvious difference, the control group is less than the treatment group ofcomplications.Conclusion: Manipulation of small splints combined with open reduction and plate fixation for the treatment of complex distal radius fractures, it hasachieved good results in the restoration of radial length, palmar tilt and ulnardeviation was no significant difference,but the symptoms and efficacy ratingsaspects open reduction and plate fixation has advantages in postoperative.And cost aspects of manipulation combined splints fit has the edge.Thereforemanipulation combined splints fit for grassroots hospitals.
