Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Lower Extremity Edema In Patients With Malignant Tumor Treated With

Purpose:To observe the clinical effect of the Jia Wei Bing Xiao San external treatment of cancer patients with limited lower extremity edema。Material and method:The patients which were hospitalized in 2014.3~2014.6 of Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Oncology were randomly divided into two groups according to Random Table。Results: 1. 13 cases of patients met inclusion criteria,6 cases in Control group,7 cases in Experimental group。The efficient of the control group was 33% and the treatment group was 86%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)。2. Before treatment the limb circumference of control group was 127.46±12.47 cm,After treatment the limb circumference was 120.51±10.47 cm,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05)。Before treatment the limb circumference of treatment group was 122.21±10.48 cm,After treatment the limb circumference was 102.23±8.60 cm,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)。3. Before treatment the local symptom score of control group was 6.37±1.34,After treatment the local symptom score was 4.89±1.26,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)。Before treatment the local symptom score of treatment group was 6.29±1.03,After treatment the local symptom score was 3.71±1.16,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01)。Also,the difference between the control group and treatment group was statistically significant(P<0.05)。Conclusion: 1. The cancer patients with limited lower extremity edema treated with external application can significantly reduce lower limb circumference。2. It also can improve the local symptoms and the quality of life of patients to achieve the goals of the Palliative treatment for cancer patients。...
